The Independent Security Council’s Department of Training and Education is responsible for both undergraduate and graduate level of training. This Department implements policy which helps students or prospective trainees get access to quality security and intelligence education. The prime responsibility of the Director of Training and Education at the ISC is to facilitate strong academic collaborative partnership with security and intelligence focused universities and colleges to ensure this Department achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its security training initiatives.
All security, intelligence and investigation courses are developed and implemented with the prior consultation with the Director of the Department of Training and Education (DTE). It is recognised that the Director of DTE exercise leadership and authority in setting and advancing a particular security or investigation course within the ISC recognised departments. The Director of DTE is widely known to be a member of the ISC Executive Governing Board and contribute to the overall leadership and management of ISC educational and other security affairs.
