The objectives of the Security Council as recognised by government’s Justice Ministry are to:

  • • Advance research and development of security and intelligence service
  • • Facilitate publications of contemporary reading materials in supporting training and education
  • • Promote national security debates in ways that advance the respective regional security environment
  • • Provide registration and accreditation to recognised security institutions
  • • Provide for regular and timely security policy statements, press releases and other intelligence or defence strategies for security cooperation between government and private sector
  • • Develop and sustain a system of intelligence information to the appropriate authority
  • • To assist governments and private sectors in minimizing threats of terrorism through early collection, evaluation, analyzing and dissemination of intelligence products
  • • Provide information sharing system in supporting the security agencies including the national security
